![]() ![]() I do question why Tape Girl would mention his face was lying there like a mask if she had killed him and cut off his face-wouldn't her possession of a Jeremy face mask be a (pardon the pun) dead giveaway to the police that she was the murderer? If I was a police officer and had a dead guy without a face and the woman who discovered the body noted that a mask (probs his face) was on the floor next to it, I would ask her what happened to the face mask. I got so distracted by the subconscious fear (I suspect many people share) of those guillotine paper cutters chopping off a finger that I was sort of ignoring the fact that I cannot imagine how one of those could possibly be used to cut off your face. ![]() I can't believe it didn't occur to me that Tape Girl was lying. This does not change the fact that Jeremy is technically a victim of William Afton, it is just not as direct of a killing as we were originally led to believe. We are dealing with an unreliable narrator. In Dreadbear, hearing that Vanessa tells Glitchtrap that no one suspects anything corroborates that the tapes are a diversion given to us to deflect suspicion. Beyond that, nothing further is said about what happens to the skin Jeremy cut off, just that Jeremy continued to wear the visor without his face. This storytelling is much more straightforward than a usual Scott Cawthon storyline, and is thus suspicious. She makes it very apparent to the listener that she had no idea the paper cutter was there, and had set up a clear motive for Jermery's suicide by detailing the devolution of his mental state. In Help Wanted, tape girl talks about how she was the only one at work at the time that Jeremy sliced off his face. If we are to believe Vanessa, owner of this mask, and tape girl are the same person, there is a chance that the white bunny mask is actually Jeremy's face. Matpat pointed out that the white bunny mask looked oddly skin-like. When watching Matpat's most recent video on Curse of Dreadbear, something stood out to me.
